Wear your pearls  for our Annual Meeting and join in celebrating 30 years of sewing, learning and sisterhood! Since pearls are the gem for the 30th anniversary, wear your ropes of pearls and Chanel jacket, or your pearl studded jeans jacket—or just come and help us celebrate us! We will celebrate from 10AM – 2 PM and will have a catered luncheon. (CDC / Placer County mask guidelines will be followed)

Our featured speaker for the day is Sherrie Cork, owner of Sew Vintagely. Take a stroll down memory lane to inspire your creative sewing. Sherrie will discuss heirloom and vintage sewing and how you can dress up a basic modern pattern with vintage details. We will also be treated to a trunk show of beautiful garments and fine fabrics. Some of the topics Sherrie will cover:
• The history of heirloom sewing and smocking
• Materials and techniques
• Where vintage and heirloom is showing up in current fashion
• How to add heirloom and vintage details like tucks and lace insertion to modern patterns
