The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.
Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.
July: Bed Caddy - Barb Effenberger
Attendees select one or two pattern manipulations that interest them and develop half-scale muslin samples to share at the meeting. Tribulations and triumphs in the execution of the samples are discussed as well as the type of fabrics that might be best suited for that design.

Students will be doing new techniques that will introduce Applique by Machine Embroidery, adding fabric to the back of the hoop and having different layers. Kathy will also discuss using a cutting machine (Cricuit or Silhouette Cameo) for use with appliqués.

Come learn the simple techniques that Debbie Jean Hopkins has developed for sewing zippers & vinyl.
This ASG Member workshop is for confident beginners and above. Sewists will go home with four bags with different zipper attachments, different bag boxing techniques, and some of the bags will have see-through vinyl.
